Peter Norfolk triumphs in Melbourne

Peter, from Alton in Hampshire defeated David Wagner of the USA, 7 6, 6 1 to take his third
Australian Open Quad singles title.  This puts him back in the number one place in World Rankings.

Peter, nicknamed “The Quadfather” when he took gold at the Beijing Paralympics
became a father in November when his wife, Linda, gave birth to a son.

Peter’s tennis achievements now eclipse those of Tim Henman and Andy Murray.
He has won the equivalent of 14 Grand Slams.


Peter Norfolk wins Australian Open Quad Singles 2009
