The Starlight Children's Foundation grants wishes to children aged of 4 to 18 who are
seriously and  terminally ill.   Wishes can be to do with meeting a celebrity,  a great
experience,  receiving a gift or travel to somewhere special.  Starlight  funds the wish for
the child, their parents and brothers and sisters under the age of 18.  The Foundation is
funded from donations from Companies, Charitable Trusts and individuals as well as an
ongoing programme of fund raising activities

When you wish upon a star
To be able to fulfil a Wish is an incredible achievement, this can bring a huge smile to a child's face!  
Each day brings requests to meet celebrities, drive a Formula One racing car, meet football stars,
get a home computer, meet Mickey Mouse.   Making their Wish come true is a real boost for the
sick child and their family.  When You  Wish Upon A Star also has holiday homes and caravans in
Britain, Spain and Florida.
