This is a national charity and a central source of holiday and travel information for disabled
people and their carers. Each year they answer over 39,000 enquiries from people with
physical, sensory and learning disabilities, carers and older people.

Holiday Care has been in operation for 22 years. It is is a national charity based in Croydon, South
London and they believe that everyone needs the opportunity to get away at least once a year with
family and friends. They aim to give disabled and older people the chance to do that.
They do not provide funding for holidays, and they do not arrange holidays. What they do is to
provide information about transport, accommodation, visitor attractions, activity holidays and respite
care establishments, both in the UK and overseas, enabling people with all kinds of disability to
holiday where possible in a mainstream environment.
