A great day in Milford for a heart attack!!

If your idea for a fun and ‘eventful’ day out is on the edge of your seat then by all means go
and take your life into your own hands and see how easy it is to fall straight into a gutter.

Mania in Milford!!   It was like a day at a theme park as my chair lurched from one side of the
UNEVEN pavement to the other as Mrs Carruthers, Mrs Clue and Charles Metcalfe stared
in horror as my life nearly came to an early end. The pavement itself however was almost the
death of me. In most parts it was like a huge gravitational pull sucking us into OBLIVIAN or
the depths of fiery hell complete with huge potholes and uneven surfaces, but I can say all of
us lived to tell our terrific tale.

As we escaped the hand of hell, littered by wheelie bins and cars blocking ramps, and finally
saw the light ahead, we were saved! Through the icy wind we found refuge and warmth and
settled down to drown ourselves in delicious creamy hot chocolate (too bad they had no
gin!!) at Secretts/the Rendezvous, we also decided to check out the accessibility of the
disabled toilets which were pretty much up to standard.

Though I am a person of nature and occasionally enjoy a wiz into town in my wheelchair, next
time I’ll take the car if Mr. Inconsiderate (man who parks on the pavement) and Mr or Mrs
Inconsiderate (leave their wheelie bins strewn around), don’t have the common decency to
think and be aware of wheelchair users!
